Harley-Davidson can help make motorcyclists cooler, literally. Introducing the all-new Triple Vent System (TVS) air management strategy that delivers an all-new level of touring comfort.

Christian Walters (Director of General Merchandise, Harley-Davidson) says: “When riders asked us for an abrasion-resistant motorcycle jacket that delivered more body cooling venting, our MotorClothes team went to the ultimate place to engineer maximum airflow: the wind tunnel. It was an unprecedented effort to engineer a jacket, but it ensured that riders got exactly what they asked for. I think that’s cool.”

Developed under the banner Project RUSHMORE, the outcome of a new customer-driven product development effort that the Motor Company implemented to re-engineer the world’s best-selling line of touring motorcycles and associated Harley-Davidson MotorClothes, TVS improves the touring experience with three zippered vents on each jacket side, where they are exposed to the greatest airflow on motorcycles equipped with a fairing.

Additionally, the airflow through each vent is unaffected by passengers or backrests, while stay-open snap tabs enable extra-wide vent openings for even greater airflow while riding. For optimal breathability while idling in traffic, the three vents are tiered, with the leading vent located the lowest and each succeeding vent extending higher onto the sides of the jacket, allowing natural upward air movement to further cool the rider. TVS is initially available on three jackets for men in leather and textile options, and one women’s leather jacket.

The new men’s Beginnings Leather Jacket with Triple Vent System (P/N 98067-14VM, starting at $450) is made from midweight cowhide leather with a mesh lining. Its Triple Vent System features three strategically placed vents on each side of the body for maximum airflow that’s versatile and customizable. The jacket also features pre-curved sleeves, power-stretch waist, seven cargo pockets and 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material piping. Available in S – 5XL and Tall sizes.

Made from waterproof 600 denier polyester, the new men’s Innovator Waterproof Functional Jacket with Triple Vent System (P/N 98539-14VM, starting at $375) offers abrasion-resistant protection with the optimized airflow of TVS. Additional features include a removable liner, body armor at the elbows and shoulders, plus stretch Cordura® on the elbows, waterproof leather accents and 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material. Available in S – 5XL and Tall sizes.

The new Evolution Waterproof Leather Jacket with Triple Vent System (P/N 98068-14VM, starting at $575) for men matches waterproof midweight cowhide leather construction with the three strategically placed vents on each side for maximum, customizable airflow. Other features include removable full-sleeve quilted liner, body armor protection at elbows and shoulders, eight spacious pockets and 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material. Available in S – 5XL and Tall sizes.

The new women’s Eclipse Waterproof Leather Jacket with Triple Vent System (P/N 98069-14VW, starting at $450) combines the three strategically placed vents per side of TVS with waterproof, lightweight cowhide leather the construction. Additional features include light padding at the back waist, shoulders and upper arms, plus 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material. Available in XS – 3W and Tall sizes.

The four MotorClothes jackets featuring Triple Vent System are available now at most Harley-Davidson dealerships.
