Laconia Motorcycle Week to Take Place June 8 – 16
Progressive’s Laconia Motorcycle Week, “America’s Original Riding Rally,” celebrates 90 years this year with spectacular routes through the White Mountains and a classic riding rally experience.
Expect this year to be the biggest party in 90 years that will be filled with good grub, great gear, and fun rides. Be sure to check out the official schedule or download the new Laconia Motorcycle Week APP for mobile devices and please rate and review it.
Rally Headquarters has a new location this year and can be found on the boardwalk of Lakeside Avenue, right next to the pier. Ride by and pick up information on New Hampshire’s most scenic destinations, guided tours, and pick up a copy of the 2013 Laconia Rally News.
Kick-Off the Laconia Motorcycle Week experience on Saturday with the 7th Annual Naswa’s Peter Makris Memorial Run. Upon returning be ready to head over to Weirs Beach and explore hundreds of vendors, entertainment and check out the beginning of the Biker Build Off in the Lobster Pound Budweiser Platinum Build-Off Tent.
Thrill-seekers can enjoy all of the speed and action of motorcycle flat track, short track, SuperBike, and vintage races at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway and Hill Climbs throughout the area. Riders can sign up for one of the many scheduled tours such as: the Gypsy Tour, Rally in the Valley, Cruise on Mt. Washington, POW-MIA Freedom Ride, Ride to the Sky or all new N.H. Farm Tour Ride. After a full day of watching racing and riding through the White Mountains, there is still plenty of entertainment and music to take in.
Wrap up Laconia Motorcycle Week on Sunday at US Legends International Racing 90th annual Loudon Classic at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Be sure to drop by the Hot Leathers tent to get an Official Laconia Motorcycle Week gear and then ride over and hit the Wrap & Roll party at Laconia Harley on your way out of town.
